Prague beyond the night...
4 months... long in the daily life e so quick in the end... as always.
We look behind us and see how time went by. That's how life passes by without us catching it.
The experience started with a negative impact caused by a dental health problem. It was one of my worst health experiences.
I am and I went there as a nursing student, while I was there, doing an internship, i ended up having some contact with the reality of the health system there. As a client, I didn't have much luck, mostly because the worst of Prague are its inhabitants. Their culture makes them a cold people, not very receptive (even though Prague is such a touristic city). Even in the restaurants I was gifted with unkind words, impolite attitudes and unfriendly looks.
Everything improves when you learn a bit of their language... except... it's Czech! It isn't Chinese, but it's close.
Dobrý den - good Morning
Dekuji - thank you
Prosím - please / you'r welcome
The currency, a lot less valuable than the euro, is, initially, slightly confusing, but one can easily adapt. E the cost of living... extremely cheap. A public transport pass for 3 months, for students, costs 23€. And the transports work relatively well!
The city, architecture, culture, monuments, is beautiful. However, it isn't made the most out of, since the lighting is poor during the night.
An experience that is always worthwhile;)
