Why did you choose to go to Prague, Czech Republic?

I chose to study in Prague because I didn't know anything about central Europe. The Czech Republic is also perfectly located for travelling to Poland, Germany, Austria, Slovakia...

I was there for 10 months.

What is student life like in Prague?

It's great, there are lots of foreign students in Prague.

Would you recommend the city and university of Prague to other students?

Yes, I'd absolutely recommend Charles University.

Was it difficult to find accommodation in Prague?

No, but you should really organise it in advance. I found a really nice apartment through an agency just before I arrived.

What is the cost of living like in Prague?

A bit expensive.

How did you find learning the language? Did you take part in language classes organised by the university?

Czech is a difficult language but it's worth learning a bit. To start with I did an intensive course for 3 weeks before my studies began and I'm still learning now.

What is the cheapest way of getting to Prague?

By plane.
