What is it like to live in Prague? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Living in Prague is an awesome experience, as city combines both rich history and many sources of entertainment for young people. There is something new to discover and enjoy every single day, while the city itself is smaller than other European capitals

What is the student lifestyle like in Prague?

one word: un-be-lie-va-ble! :D nowhere else in the world are girls so pretty and beer so cheap, you've got me word on that

How much does it cost to live in Prague?

well, it depends on where do you come from and what are your expectations. Generally speaking, 700/800 euros per month should be enough for any party-loving student. Prague is not cheap (especially for those coming from post-communist countries etc.), but it is worth its price

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Prague? Is there any advice you can give?

It might be...generally the best thing is to collaborate with your host university, they might even give you some dormitories. Second best option is to rent apartment (especially if more people are sharing), but this might be difficult if none is Czech resident

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

delicious, but might be heavy or fat for some people. Czechs love their beer and pork knees :D

What places would you recommend visiting in Prague?

Prague castle, Vysehrad, Old Town Square, many churches and cathedrals, Charles bridge, local pubs and bars

Is it good to eat out in Prague? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

it is, it only depends on your budget...similarly, there are different kinds of restaurants, not only Czech, but also Mexican, Indian or Japanese...

Is the nightlife good in Prague? Where is good to go?

one of the best in Europe :) great bars to start are SaSaZu, Duplex or k.u.bar, and after that continue all around old town

What advice would you give future students heading to Prague?

enjoy as much as you can my friends, as it will be possibly one of the best years in your life
