Why did you choose to go to Prague, Czech Republic?
Many reasons but mainly for the history and the central location.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
One academic year and the scholarship was around 1700 GBP.
What is the student lifestyle like in Prague?
Excellent.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Prague to other students?
Yes absolutely.
What is the food like?
The Czech food was great but avoid the Chinese restaurants.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Prague?
Yes we had to pay around half a months rent to a real estate agent just for showing us around the flat. it was unfortunate but unavoidable.
How much does it cost to live in Prague?
Very little. Prague is great value for money.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Not from what I can tell. There are language courses available but I didn't take one.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Prague from your city?
By plane.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Prague?
There are really too many to chose from.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Prague?
Any of the authentic Czech cuisine places are good.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Hot peppers.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Prague in the future?
Don't forget to get your learning agreement stuff in on time.
