Why did you choose to go to Prague, Czech Republic?

The city is very beautiful, perfect location in the heart of Europe and you can visit many cities in a close distance. Also, it has cheap prices and a very good nightlife! Perfect place for Erasmus.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The scholarship is for 4/5 months, 400 euros per month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Prague?

There are a lot of students and Erasmus people in the city. More than 2500 Erasmus students.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Prague to other students?

For sure! One of the top destinations for Erasmus!

What is the food like?

Dumplings with cabbage and pork is the typical Czech food. Furthermore, there is a lot of international food.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Prague?

I referred to the university to stay in the dorms, paying 160 euros for a single room.

How much does it cost to live in Prague?

500 euros should be ok. It depends on the trips you want to do, because the central location of Prague is good for trips to many beautiful European cities.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Czech is a very difficult language. The university offers language courses for Erasmus students.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Prague from your city?

Airplane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Prague?
