Why did you choose to go to Prague, Czech Republic?

Prague had always fascinated me, and I wanted to go easter. I also chose Prague since it was known as a cheaper place than France, where I come from.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

My scholarship is two semesters. I receive 2400€ from Erasmus scholarship + the French region where I come from.

What is the student lifestyle like in Prague?

It all depends on what you prefer. You have plenty of nice bars with specific atmospheres, but many clubs as well. Prague provides an amazing range of choices.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Prague to other students?

Definitely!

What is the food like?

It's like very fat food, but it's ok from time to time. You just need to be hungry, the quantity is often huge.

No, I found my room by an add from a free website.

How much does it cost to live in Prague?

It depends if you like to go out, but if you want to live your experience "whole-heartedly", I would say 200€/ month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available in the University?

There are czech language courses at Charles University, but I didn't chose to study czech. This is quite complicated, and you can easily live with english.

Plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Prague?

I would go to U sudu, a pub on Vodickova. Drink a lot and finish to Cross club.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Plenty of museums and places to visit. Amazing churches. Or just walking through the street of Mala Strana.

Is there any other advice that you could give to future students who are going to Prague?

Experience every type of things, Prague has so much to offer.
