Why did you choose to go to Prague, Czech Republic?

I chose Prague because is the one of the most beautiful cities in the world and because I wanted to discover the East's customs and Culture.

Moreover I wanted to go in a country where the cost of the life is not expensive.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I have the Erasmus's Scolarship and I received a first payment at the beginning of my eramus program and the second at the end of my exchange. The sum of money is 160 Euros by month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Prague?

The student lifestyle in Prague is amazing. Regularly after courses we're going to the center in order to walk, enjoy the sun or take a beer. Each night we can do parties or going in a Pub. Moreover we can share a lot of things with the others students who living in the same residence, meeting them each time that you are in your resident. I am living with a lot of student at the "Domyno residence" and we watch movies together many times by week.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Prague to other students?

Yes of course! Prague is amazing for all! is beautiful, not expensive, crazy, attractive...

What is the food like?

For my part I am eating the same food than in my country "France" because The Czech food have not the same flavor than French food.

In Prague The pork and the beer are the main product for eat.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Prague?

No nothing. I sent a few email and I found my accomodation.

How much does it cost to live in Prague?

6800 kC by month, so 240 euros.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The Czech is very hard to learn so I practise just my English. My courses are in Englsh and In Prague lot of people speak English so is easily to do the discussion. In my university VSFS you can chose several languages.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Prague from your city?

Most economical is by bus 50 euros but 14h of travel, but The PLane is the easiest way to come Prague from France, just 1h30, but the most expensive...

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Prague?

Propaganda, casino, Mecca, Retro.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Prague?

Burger King! We haven't Burger King in France, just one to Paris. I don't know good restaurants in Prague.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Museum, Charles Bridge, old town, Petrin, the castle.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Prague in the future?

Prague is amazing, so prepare yourself !
