Why did you choose to go to Prague, Czech Republic?

Because Prague is in the heart of the Europe, is cheap, has an amazing parties.

The city is magic is absolutely beautiful!

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

For me it was an academic year, I got around 1200€.

What is the student lifestyle like in Prague?

It's partying all the time and few studies.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Prague to other students?

I really recommend the city, the university I was in (CULS), where - at least - the professors spoken in English.

What is the food like?

I didn't like that much the food but it's difficult to evaluate because for example in Portugal I consider that we have a really nice food but it's completely different than Prague.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Prague?

A bit, because after arriving the coordinator made a mistake and I didn't had a room anymore because of that. I had to live a bit far during the first month. But then I change for university campus residence.

How much does it cost to live in Prague?

It depends from which country you are from, but for example comparing with Portugal: the nightlife is cheaper, restaurants are cheap and the supermarket is the same in here.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available in the University?

No, it's not easy at all. Yes - the language course was available in university.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Prague from your city?

By plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Prague?

It depends, for example Cross Club is amazing when it comes to decoration (some strong parties there), Retro disco, Chapeau Rouge, Propaganda, James Dean, Harleys, Akropolis, and more...

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Castle and gardens around, Jewish tour, Vysehrad, Letna park has the most beautiful view, "Eiffel" tower, clock in city center.

Is there any other advice that you could give to future students who are going to Prague?

Try to go to different clubs, because they are amazing and different from each other. I went at least to a 150 bars/clubs and I want to know more.
