Why did you choose to go to Prague, Czech Republic?
I choose Prague simply because it is affordable Country in Europe, and Attractive scenery of the City.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
The scholarship for 3 semester, and the grant is enough to live and travel in Europe.
What is the student lifestyle like in Prague?
Some of student enjoy party and beer tasting, but some of them enjoy sightseeing and enjoy the scenery of Prague city and architectural buildings.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Prague to other students?
Yes I will recommended to study in Prague. 24 Hours public transportation will make good access within Prague, and "Time" will not be obstacle as boundary for social life.
CVUT is also one of favourite University in Europe for Engineering and Science.
What is the food like?
The food is tasty and cheap.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Prague?
I live in student Dormitory, so it is not as costly as own apartment.
How much does it cost to live in Prague?
Average €300 per month
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
My course is in English, so I have no problem in Language during classes.
But, there are some course offered for free in University, especially for Erasmus Students. We have also free language courses (Many language courses, not only Czech language) organized by International Student Club (ISC)
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Prague from your city?
I have only one way to travel to Prague from my hometown, which is air flight.
So, find the cheapest company for flight here in Prague would be the only economical way.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Prague?
A lot of Clubs and Pubs in City Centre of Prague for night out, just pick one.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Prague?
Abundance of restaurants (local and non Czech dishes) available in the city centre of Prague. I love eating in Italian Restaurant in Old town, and also Budvarka Restaurant for Local Czech Restaurant around Kafkova area, and some Bangladesh restaurants, but I prefer Curry house and Curry palace near sparta park.
But, most of my time eat in CVUT Menza (student canteen) with cheapest special price for student
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Prague Castle, Old town area, Wincheslas square, Charles bridge, and other coutnry side of Prague sucah as Cesky Krumlov, Kutna Hora, etc.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Prague in the future?
No other advice, just come and enjoy Prague.
