How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I received 1000€ which is not a lot for 4 months it only allows you to pay for your accommodation...

What is the student lifestyle like in Prague?

As an adventurous student you can do almost everything you can imagine in Prague: do climbing, have a snack in a stopped boat, go to a Thai massage... I don't know you name it!

Would you recommend the city and the University of Prague to other students?

Off course I would. Prague has an amazing collection of gothic architecture, it's an awesome city to live and you just feel free and enchanted by it!

What is the food like?

Well, the food is not as good as Portuguese, here they just eat a lot of sauce and dumplings (you'll know what I'm talking about if you come here).

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Prague?

No I stayed in the university dormitories.

How much does it cost to live in Prague?

It's a little bit more expensive than Portugal but not super expensive.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

There are language courses in my university but the language is super hard! But with time and dedication you will get there.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Prague from your city?

Public transports.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Prague?

We can watch live rock every night, or going to a Latino bar.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Prague?

Just try the sausages at the old town square or the sweet rolls with nutella on it.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Visit every main monument (you can see them in the metro stops).

Go to Můstek and Staromeská and to the dancing building in Karlovo Namesty.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Prague in the future?

Travel around the whole Czech Republic (go to the bone church), enjoy the free guided trips around Prague, you can learn a lot and take time to travel to a near country and to relax cause the clock is always ticking.
