Erasmus experience in Prague, Czech Republic

Why did you choose to go to Prague, Czech Republic?

As part of an internship. I was asked if I had a country preference. I replied that I was flexible. I was told, "Good thing that you go to Bucharest. " And 15 days before departure, when I was about to book my plane tickets, I was told "by the way you are going to Prague".

How did you find your accommodation?

Thanks to the company I work for.

How are the prices of the rent? And prices in general?

In comparison 1/3 less than Paris.

But it depends on a lot of factors: place, shared apartment...

Tough.

What is the most economical way to get to Prague from your city?

From Paris, the cheapest is the bus, but it's really too long! Still, the aircraft remains affordable in a time/price ratio.

100 to 150€ A/R (Air France or Czech Airlines in less than 25 years are not so expensive).

Plenty of places. Varies according to the budget and according to the atmosphere you prefer.

What about dining in Prague? What are your favorite places?

'Mathylda botel' a boat hotel restaurant at the foot of the dancing house of Frank Gehry.

Otherwise the neighborhood bars are generally very nice.

And what cultural visits do you recommend?

Personally, I advise getting off the beaten track and trying to get lost in the city. It is often where you discover the coolest corners.

Advice for future students in Prague?

In the spring and summer you have to enjoy the numerous gardens of the city and do not hesitate to pick the fruits from the fruit trees.

In winter, buy a big coat. And do not hesitate to go out at night on weekdays in the cold because the Charles Bridge is absolutely magical!
