Erasmus experience in Prague, Czech Republic
Why did you choose to go to Prague, Czech Republic?
The city is very central and inexpensive.
How long was the scholarship for? How much money did you receive to help cover expenses?
I was there for a full academic year, you do have the option to go for just one semester also.
The money is scarce in Spain, it's about 300 euros a month, but you get it almost at the end of your stay.
What is the student environment like?
Very good.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Prague to other students?
Yes, without a doubt.
What was the food like in your country?
Like everywhere else it depends what you like, they use a lot of sauce.
Was is hard to find accommodation in Prague?
No, I stayed in a halls of residence.
How much does it cost to live in Prague?
It's very inexpensive.
What was the language like? Did you attend any courses in the University?
I understand English, Czech is too complicated. Yes there are lots of different courses available.
What is the cheapest way to get to Prague from your city?
A plane from Madrid or Barcelona.
What places would you recommend to visit when going out in Prague?
All of them, there is a great student environment.
Can you name some of your favourite places to eat?
La Casa Blu.
Would you recommend this place as a cultural visit?
Yes I would highly recommend it, it's beautiful.
What advice would you give for any future students going to Prague?
Enjoy yourself and travel!
