Good-looking Poznan
Poznan was another city where I went. Honestly, it was business trip and I could not picture that I will like the city that much.
Poznan used to be under German government for a long time. Obviously, the city has similar history as I described about Gdansk and Wroclaw. The history starts from Mieszko I to German Empire. But this time, I do not want to get too bogged in the history of the city because you already know from my previous publications.
I want to direct you attention on the city's beauty and places where I was. The start of my destination begins with a stop nearby great shopping mall Stary Browar. Thankfully, I had time to walked in and enjoy it. I should say it is the largest shopping mall that I have seen in my life. You can find everything there. Literally, there is everything. I noticed brand shops, cafes, restaurants, cinema, spot for kids and many more. There was some kind of gallery but I did not have time to observe it. I believe it is concerning the construction of the shopping mall. But, in general this place is very interesting and spectacular, especially by its size. Besides, it was built as some museum. Honestly, it does not look like a shopping mall.

The next catchy thing was the old town of Poznan. It is the most visited area by tourists. It is an amazing and clean touristic spot which looks very German. But, most of the tourists walk around the Old Market Square, because it is considered as the most attractive place in Poznan. Also, there are many students and families who walk and admire the Town Hall which is the center of the old town. You may see it on the photograph below.
The last impressive thing was Ostrow Tumski. Ostrow Tumski is an island that unites the river Warta and Poznan. Many years ago this place served as a first spot of history. The western Polish tribes were gathering there to build the city. But now, it is a historical place which consists of Poznan Cathedral, museum, archbishop palace, Psalmodists' house and church.

In the end, I can confirm that Poznan is a touristic city. However, I noticed many business companies and student institutions. Even though it was my business trip, I enjoyed my time there.
