The food is really good, you won't find the amazing taste of southern mozzarella easily, but cheese, milk, pizza, pasta, wine and cold cuts are excellent.

What places would you recommend visiting in Pordenone?

There's not much to visit: S. Marco's church, the city centre for its medieval architectures, the castle of Torre, many museums and the Verdi Theatre.

Is it good to eat out in Pordenone? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It depends on what you want to eat: if you want to eat fish, I suggest "Al lido", if you prefer a classic pizza or Italian food, I recommend "Il Peperino", if you want to taste the local food, there is a small tavern called "Il Cavaliere Perso".

Is the nightlife good in Pordenone? Where is good to go?

There are few clubs around here, but honestly, I don't usually go there, so I don't know.

What advice would you give future students heading to Pordenone?

If you're looking for tranquillity and nice weather, Pordenone is the city for you. If, on the other hand, you are a bit more lively, you would be bored to death here, so avoid it.
