If you ever go to Erasmus in Pordenone, I have some tips for you.

-The city is small and quite boring. People in their 20s mostly leave for university so there's no much life around.

-The university has some faculties in Borgomeduna and others downtown.

-The weather is very rainy in autumn and spring. Winter is chilly and pleasant. Summer is unbearably hot. You should go there during the second semester, because days are longer and the city doesn't feel as depressing.

-The food is actually quite good and so are the prices.

-The local Casa dello Studente offers some activities for young people aged 15 to 25/30.

- Since the city is small and boring with few students around (most of them are commuters), I would highly recommend you to find a host family with kids aged 0 to 18 in order to enjoy your time and learn more about Italian culture as well as going to trips with them (Pordenone is halfay between the sea and the mountains).

Simply put - go there for the culture and to learn Italian. Just expect a relaxing Erasmus with little or no party, but with lots of cultural experience about what living in a small Italian city feels like.
