Trip in Sao Miguel Island (Azores )

Life in Sao Miguel Island :
Sao Miguel the biggest Island among Azores Islands, the city of this Island name is (Ponta Delgada), it's a small nice city, it has just one airport, and the symbol of it is this gate in the following pictures

It's hard to visit all Sao Miguel Island without car, Local people are nice, friendly, kind, helpful and proud that tourists visit their amazing Island, but you can meet them only in the houses area, because as they told me almost all of them don’t move so much because they are hard workers, so they spend all the day in their jobs, it's a strange thing they told (some people living in eastern part never saw a sunset, and people in the western part never saw a sunrise), they invite tourists to try the fresh milk of caw because this animal is a symbol of the Azores, and also a homemade cheese.

Foods and drinks:
There is not so many restaurants, and almost all coffees, restaurant, shops…, close at 18:00 but the traditional food of Sao Miguel Island is so tasty, I tried Ananas and Tea which are cultivated there, and also homemade cheese and fresh cow milk, and there is a typical meal named (Cozido das Furnas) cooked in Gaizer which Is a mix of vegetables and different kind of meat.

Accommodation :
The price for a room in a hostel is around 15 € per night per person. But a friend of mine who was there last year, recommended to me to search in Couchurfing, then I get lucky to have a place for free near to the Ocean with an amazing view, but the conditions were not as I expected, but the owner was helpful to help me to know where are the best places I must visit in Sao Miguel Island.

Nature in Sao Miguel Island (Azores) :
Nature is the most amazing thing in this Island; there are so many nice views, natural plants and wild animals especially white horses. Farms have so many cows and cultivated tea. Tourist usually visits some specific places, like a place where are so many sources of geothermal hot water named (Furnas). Another place which has hot springs in the ocean named (Ponta da Ferraria). I loved also a beach with black sand named (Mosteiros beach). Visiting this Island was wonderful because there are many amazing viewpoints than I share with you in the following pictures.
