Have a special time in Pisa
Enjoy the city
It is difficult to get boring in Pisa. You want to go around everyday because reaching places is not complicated and it is quite easy walking or cycling. You can find a place outdoor and admire river Arno and the middle bridge.
Local food
There are a lot of restaurants, well-stoked shops and cafes to taste local food ('cecina', focaccine, pizza, etc. ). Pisa not only offers meat and wine that is the most typical food of Tuscany, but also a good selection of sea food. I'd recommend to eat in one of the restaurants in Marina di Pisa and have 'risotto alla pesctora'.
Study and work
Study in Pisa is a pleasure. There are libraries and study rooms with a lot of services scattered all over town.
In this city work opportunity is not missed. Indeed, you can find a lot of research centres to collaborate with and part-time jobs offered directly from the University.
Historical sights
Even if Pisa is a small city there are incredible hystorical places (Torre di Pisa, Battistero di san Giovanni, Palazzo della carovana, Piazza dei Cavalieri, etc. ) that is worth to visit at least once in your life.
Explore places close to Pisa
Pisa is geographically well positioned and it offers both sea and mountain. There are so many opportunities to travel and if you like trekking you can take part of many cultural groups and move around in a good company.
Alternatively you can take a train and reach Livorno to enjoy the wonderful Mascagni terrace, or you can relax in one of the beaches of Castiglioncello.
