Why did you choose to go to Pisa, Italy?
Because i tought that was a good way to meet a diferent countrie and culture
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
My school was paying me 900e for 6 months but i didn´t receive it imediatly, just when i returned to Portugal.
What is the student lifestyle like in Pisa?
It was calm and nice. It have a good university and the teachers was very available for our doubts and exams. Not a lot of partys and disco´s but we make the party outselves.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Pisa to other students?
Yes, for sure. It´s a good way to meet Italy.
What is the food like?
Tipical italian food and you could expect great pizza´s. It have a loot of Kebab´s too.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Pisa?
No, its very easy because there are a lot of students and houses for students.
How much does it cost to live in Pisa?
I paid for a individual room 300euro per month, plus other expenses.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Yes,there are language courses available in the university and it´s free. I studied Social Services and the course was compulsery.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Pisa from your city?
I travelled by car because i have a earing problem, i can´t fly. But the easiest or most economical way to travel is for sure aeroplane.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Pisa?
To piazza vetovaglie. It have a lot of bar´s it´s a good way to meet people.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Pisa?
I don´t remember the name, but it have a lot of goods restaurants in the area. Always prefer the smalest and not very tourists.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Torre di Piza
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Pisa in the future?
Have a lot of fun :) It´s a good experience . Take the train to visit another citys, Italia it´s beautiful and it´s worth it.
