How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I am receiving 335€ per month as an Erasmus+ student. My master is an Erasmus Mundus one. I will receive it for 8 months because I already had it before. In total, we can have 12 months during one master cycle.

What is the food like?

Italian food! So it's amazing, and really affordable. Pasta, pizza, pastries, ice cream, foccacia... you've got the choice!

How much does it cost to live in Pisa?

My rent is of 350€/month all included.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The CLI is offering good quality Italian courses and they are free if you are Erasmus and that it's the first language class you attend to. Otherwise it is 60€ for one semester. Italian is quite easy for French, Portuguese and Spanish speaking people as it has a lot of similarities.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Pisa from your city?

Easyjet and Ryanair are flying straight to Pisa, and the airport is in the city center, so it's super convenient and quite cheap from a lot of European cities.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Pisa?

You should try Il Montino, it's a bit hard to find, but it's offering really good Cecina, foccacia and pizza!
