What is it like to live in Phnom Penh? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
The city is not really clean and chaotic. There is a lot of traffic jam everyday, but there is a lot of skyscrapers and modern building.
What is the student lifestyle like in Phnom Penh?
Student lifestyle is really high quality. I didn’t mean the school. The school is old and not really clean as european standard, but there are alot of brand shop shop such as starbuck, amazon coffee, and modern high quality entertainment centres,etc that can change student mind away from education.
How much does it cost to live in Phnom Penh?
Phnom Penh is a really cheap city to live in. For example food and clothes are really cheap. But the salary for people work in the city is also low too
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Phnom Penh? Is there any advice you can give?
It is easy to find accommodation in Phnom Penh but if you are going for a cheap accommodation, you will have to be aware of your own security
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
There is a lot of food in Phnom Penh i could say Asia overall compared to Western Country. The food is really tasty and flavourful. My favorite dishes would be Seafood and Smoked snail
What places would you recommend visiting in Phnom Penh?
I would recommend to try one of the sky bars
Is it good to eat out in Phnom Penh? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
You can find a lot of restaurants in Phnom Penh, you don’t need a map you can just walk and you will find one. I don’t have a favorite spot
Is the nightlife good in Phnom Penh? Where is good to go?
Nightlife is really dangerous in Phnom Penh especially for Foreigner because they see foreigner as a rich person
What advice would you give future students heading to Phnom Penh?
Don’t go out when it is dark and don’t walk or drive around quiet neighbourhood. But you should try every food you can in Cambodia because there is alot of delicious foods and really weird food that you might never know. And try the fruit there too. But don’t expect too much out of Cambodia education.
