What is it like to live in Pavia? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
It's a small city and people in Pavia are very friendly and open minded. The weather in winter is very foggy and you rarely see sunny days. Clothes and accessories are at reasonable prices. Resturants are cheap.
What is the student lifestyle like in Pavia?
There are 4 institutes in Pavia so there are lots of students in Pavia. Students from all around the world live here. You can meet people from different regions of the world.
How much does it cost to live in Pavia?
Pavia is relatively a cheap city. You can live in edisu hostels which are good and affordable. On contrary one can also rent a room in a flat etc. Ranging between 200 € to 500 € per month.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Pavia? Is there any advice you can give?
I advice the future students to contact edisu colleges before coming here and book their rooms online. These colleges are good and there are many international students living n them
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Food is not up to the mark. Southern Italy is better for food. The resturants are cheap but I never had a good food experience.
What places would you recommend visiting in Pavia?
I recommend visiting the Ponte Coperto, the parks, the cathedral, etc.
Is it good to eat out in Pavia? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
I don't like to eat out much here.
Is the nightlife good in Pavia? Where is good to go?
At centre people walk at night and visit bars.
What advice would you give future students heading to Pavia?
Just come here, buy a bicycle, and explore the city. It's a small town, but you will love it.
