Honestly, Pavia choose me, there were 2 options for me in Italy and my University chose Pavia.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I received enough scholarship for my whole stay, although I traveled a lot so it was a good thing that I saved a lot of money.

What is the student lifestyle like in Pavia?

Pavia is a little city so it is not like there are many bars or places to go out, but just enough to not get bored. The people are very friendly and open, so it easy to make a lot of friends to do activities with and most speak English so it very easy to meet others. Pavia has enough to offer to have the best of your Erasmus experience.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Pavia to other students?

Yes, if they are looking for a quiet city close to a city full of life (Milano)

Pizzeria Bella Napoli at Piazza Vittoria, I had there my first meal and it was the best.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Castello has a nice art exposition. Besides, there are many churches with a great history. Through Pavia, there are actually a lot of places you can find statues with information.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Pavia in the future?

To all Erasmus student: Dare to open your mouth and ask for information.

To those in Pavia, don't throw away the idea of a collegio. I live in Collegio Griziotti and the rooms are not that luxurious but you can meet many people and end up with a whole new family.
