Hey!
I'm Hattie, I'm 20 and I am moving to Paris at the end of August to spend the first semester at Paris Diderot 7. I'm looking for a house share with housemates that speak French and like to socialise preferably. I'm tidy, not too loud and I love French culture and just want to find a nice place to live to make the most out of my few months in Paris.

Hi everyone!
I'm Lilla and i'll go to Sciences-Po in the automne semester. I found a flat of 27 m2 (there is a room about 12-14 m2, a kitchen, a bathroom, there is a washing-machine, an owen etc.) which is free from the beginning of august till the end of december, it costs 500 euros with charges (it's not possible to have an APL, it's a sous-location) and i search a girl to share the flat with. The problem is that actually i don't need the flat in august, just from september, so i'ld prefer someone who would need all the flat in august ( to can invite for example friends from her home country) and would pay all or nearly all the rent for that month. (I know it's a little bit complicated....)

yes, my mail adress is [email protected], if you write me a mail, i'll send you photos. And i'm sorry, i forgot to say, it's close to the metro jules joffrin.

Hello there...I am Amele, student of Sorbonne university. Are you guyz having problem geting an apartment? Why is it difficult to secure an apartment here? Well, i know its complecated getting one but the only way i suggest is searching on the net. if seriouly you need mayb i may be of a help.

who is going to EDC à la Defense?

Why it's complicated? Because noone wants to rent a flat for just a half year, without a french "garant", and at a price which is possible to pay....nothing else :).

Lilla that's right ...But not every owner rent for a full year. If you search am sure you will get to see one for any period you want to stay..In case you guyz need a help to look for an apartment for you, please dont hesitate to contact me

I may be on a help when you see one and i can go and view if its well okay for you but if only not too far from the Sorbonne university.

Love to see you in Paris.. :))

Truly Kristien it a little bit stressful when you are looking out for a room or an apartment.
Less i forget i read from forum about someone having his/her apartment available for rent, the address shows it very close to Sorbonne university but am not sure if you have contacted. if yes then i can be of a help to see it if you want. Anyway, Searching on the internet will be the right option because is sometimes difficult to secure apartment nowadays.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need me.
Cheers

Hi,

I'll be in Paris studying Lettres Modernes for the whole year 2011-2012, and (like everyone) am also looking to flatshare, but not to speak English! I speak French and German.

Thanks!

So i don't think you can look at it through the CROUS website, but i know for sure that if you go to an actual CROUS building they have interactif terminals (not sure you would call it like that, it's like special computers) where you can search for private appartments (as opposed to "residence rooms"). There are owners that put announcements especially for people who want to rent for a short time. I don't know if i'm making myself clear, but for those who are planning on going to Paris soon, make sure you check it up! :)
And good luck everyone

Hi :)

I'm Antje from Hannover, Germany and I'll stay in Paris from September until February/March. I'll study communication design / graphic design at École supérieure des arts appliqués Duperré. I really would be interested in sharing a flat with people from different countries. It would be nice to have different people around because I also don't know a lot of people in Paris :) I'm also looking for flats and I'll tell you if I find one...

Don't hesitate to contact me at Facebook or by e-mail: [email protected]

Hi Amy.....Do you mean people can find house there....? its better you assist say the full definition of CROUS in form of website so they can easily find one ...

Sorry i didn't quite understand all your message... :)

But yeah, if you go to a CROUS building (for exemple the one in "Port Royal" near Luxembourg) on the main floor you have sort of big "Crous computers" where you can look for private announcements from people who rent appartments or rooms. And i don't think this service is available on the website when you go with your own computer, i think you have to go to those special computers. But i'm not sure. (a friend of mine found her flat looking through these propositions)

Hi Amela,

So you're a French student, right? I'm currentrly studying at UAM university (Madrid) and I'll be in Paris for the whole academical year (2011/2012). In my university, on the walls or when you wait for the bus, there're always loads of adverts of people that rent their flats for foreign students. Doesn't it happen in Paris aswell? Maybe if you see some adverts you can tell us. Searching on the net is not always the best option. But thank you for your help. Violette

Hi All,

I will coming to Paris in September, for the fall term at ESSEC Business School as an exchange student from India. I am looking for a place in Paris for 3 odd months. I am open to colocation and flat sharing as well.

Regards,
Ashish
