During my internship in Portugal, i wanted to visit another european countries that were close in distance as my student visa allowed me to do such a thing, I had therefore the idea to visit the city of the lights Paris.
It was winter time so fight prices were very cheap between countries, so I found a flight for just 83 euros from Lisbon to Paris by a low cost company and was very happy to discover this magnificent city.

1-The Eiffel Tower

The first thing that I had in my mind to do is to climb to the top of the Eiffel Tower to contemplate a unique view of Paris, in fact this magical place is the heart of all the country, a true symbol of the capital Paris is the Eiffel Tower that dates from the Universal Exhibition held previously in Paris, it is undoubtedly the most visited monument in Paris and the most conserved one. The top of the Eiffel Tower offers really a breathtaking view of Paris especially for people going in couples it can be very romantic to visit such a place especially by night. For an even greater experience of the place, poeple can enjoy a meal in the restaurant located on the 1st floor of the Eiffel Tower.

2- Palace of Versailles

The second place that I visit with my friends was the great and amazing castle of Versailles that is very famous for its very well conserved state from previous decades and that illustrate the time of kings and queens that ruled the country.
One of the wonders and must see in Paris is the Palace of Versailles. Symbol of the apogee of royalty in France and the splendor of the art of the Renaissance, the Palace of Versailles is a mythical place that must be visited, even one time in Paris. The Grand Apartments of the castle, the famous Hall of Mirrors or Queen Marie Antoinette's room without forgetting the magnificent gardens of the castle are the must-see of Versailles. The castle is really splendid there is no words that can describe such a conserved and detailed architecture. Located in the heart of Paris, the Palace of Versailles is an excursion to do half a day or a day. To live a unique experience of the place, take part in the great nocturnal waters of Versailles. Organized between mid-June and mid-September, the spectacle of the great waters of the Palace of Versailles offers visitors a unique visual and sound show punctuated by fireworks that resembles the magical fountain of Barcelona.

3- Cruise aboard a boat on the Seine river

I had the amazing chance with my friends to plan for an amazing and memorable dinner for us in Paris, so we thought on a cruise aboard a boat while having dinner and in the same time discover the Seine river and its amazing landscapes offered by the city. To contemplate the splendor of the main monuments of Paris and enjoy the architecture of Paris, nothing better than to sail on the Seine aboard a boat while dining at nightfall when the lights of the monuments are illuminated. Magic experience in itself to do with his lover during a romantic outing in Paris as it represents many romantic feelings transmitted by the wonderful atmosphere at night.

4- Louvre Museum

The third attraction we had the chance to discover is the Louvre Museum that is considered one of the largest museums in the world that will delight lovers from antiquity. Former fortress under the reign of previous kings and former residence of the King of France until the last king, the Louvre Museum is a must see attraction for any visit to Paris and people can choose to visit it by day or by night. A visit of the site in the evening will allow poeple to discover the works from another angle. A special atmosphere and magical feeling is transmitted by the Louvre Museum at night. Visiting the Louvre at night is an experience to do in Paris at least once. The Louvre Museum is open at night until 9.45 pm on Wednesdays and Fridays as well as during the night of the Museums.

5- Pigalle district

After the main monuments discovery, we had the chance to Stroll through the Pigalle district and walk up to the very famous Sacred Heart. Popular for its neighborhoods for originality and excellence, Pigalle and Montmartre are two neighborhoods located in the north of Paris that are very close to each other. To have a complete panorama of Paris, people must do before a visit of the district of the capital that is a bit naughty. Known for its famous Moulin Rouge cabaret, the Pigalle district is also a must see when discovering the Parisian nightlife. The place is full of bars, clubs, theaters and restaurants inside the Pigalle district which make it one of the most crowded and famous areas of the capital. Located below the Montmartre, the visit of Pigalle combines perfectly with a stroll in the emblematic district of Montmartre. Especially known for its Basilica of the Sacred Heart, Montmartre is a romantic district that deserves a lot of attention for its Place du Tertre where many painters install their easels every day to paint the portrait of tourists or to exhibit their most beautiful masterpieces. A few steps from the Place du Tertre, you can see Salvador Dali's drawings and sculptures at the museum with the same name.

6- Josephine Baker Pool

The Josephine Baker Pool is a swimming pool located near the river Seine, this floating nautical complex will give poeple the impression of swimming on the Seine. The Joséphine Baker sports complex also offers fitness and bodybuilding rooms, a hammam, a sauna, a Jacuzzi and a solarium, as well as a small pool for children. With a glass roof that can be opened in summer, the Joséphine Baker pool is one of the few pools in Paris that is opened until late at night (closing at midnight on Tuesdays and Thursday in summer, and at 10 pm the rest of The year), the swimming pool Joséphine Baker is very popular on weekends and swimming in this floating pool is a unique experience to do in Paris at least once in its life.

7- Pont des Arts

One of the top things to do in the romantic city Paris is to make a love padlock with our sweetheart on the Pont des Arts or on the Archbishop's Bridge. In fact, this custom of the padlock of love began in Paris in the previous years on the bridge of the arts. Coming essentially from asian countries like south korea and from Eastern Europe, this custom was created mainly for couples and consisted in hanging a padlock with the inscription of the names or the initials of the couples and to throw the key in the water in order to symbolize their love and their passage on the bridge as an eternal love which is of course not true nowadays. The Pont des Arts has become one of the most famous attraction of the romantic life of Paris. Romantic practice is something to do once during your stay in Paris.

8- Paris districts

We had also the chance finally to visit many districts in the Parisian capital like the Marais district which is one of the oldest districts of the capital, characterised by a rich historical heritage like old narrow, private mansions. It is also a lively district with many trendy shops, art galleries, restaurants, museums. At night we could discover the Haut Marais and we saw it was  one of the most festive districts of Paris with its bars, pubs and discotheques. The nights are long and the atmosphere is very festive and poeple does not sleep at all with lights on everynight. You will also find many museums such as the Picasso Museum, or the very famous Carnavalet or the Pompidou Center.

The Canal Saint-Martin district is one of the most charming in the capital with its footbridges, its lakes, its small colorful shops and its nice little bars. It also has the reputation of being a neighborhood very festive and the quality of poeple is so much great while interacting with each other, its terraces ideal for a brunch at the edge of the water and are surely for something. The study of many groups of friends will be found for a long break, we walked in the streets by nights to discover also the  Saint-Germain des Près district with its atmosphere of the sixty, a neighborhood of writers, artists and a representative for the great names of Jazz music as well.

Today, this district is amazing and is astonishing poeple with its contemporary art galleries, famous cafés, among others: the Café de Flore, its bookstores, its close relationships, it has kept a little of this "left-bank" spirit and remains one of the most appreciated of the capital. This district is also a lively district offering many trendy shops, many different restaurants with local gastronomy, and wonderful museums but also many bars offering an atmosphere of football matchs where we can discover the french league and championship pubs and many crazy discotheques. Another very interesting district to see and discover is the Latin Quarter which is well known to students and teachers and spoke of its Latin counterpart from the Middle Ages. It is today a neighborhood where student life is very lively. It is also a place with the cultural wealth of Paris with many cinemas of art and essays, as well as many museums ,and a very famous university settled inside the city.

The most beautiful avenue in the world and also the most lively areas of the capital. with a distance of more than two kilometres is represented by the Arc of Triomph instead of concord. As i already saw the arc of Triumph of barcelona, this one was very ressembeling it in my opinion offering a magical view and a very beautiful architectural design, It's not just a big shopping avenue, it's also an area rich in activities, and charasterised by cultural atmosphere with the theaters, the Grand Palace, or more festive with the various bars, cafes and discotheques as well surrounding the big avenue. So it is a must see avenue to visit in Paris and take many pictures. The Opera Garnier is also one of the jewels of the art deco of the city and shows a symbol of the power of Paris in the most beautiful decades of the light and history. Although the best way to discover is to attend an opera or a ballet, The Opera Garnier can be visited every day of the week to see many splendid cultural and wonderful shows that can only leave us with much joy, happiness and full of interest to this very rich european country.
