What is the student lifestyle like in Panama City?

Student life style is pretty good. You can go party and be hanging out at anytime if you're over 18 and Panamanian are ''party people'' but we work hard play hard. Study load could range from medium to pretty heavy but it depends in the career and University you are. But overall it is good and universities make sure to organize certain activities and events.

How much does it cost to live in Panama City?

Living in Panama is actually very cheap. In terms of food is way better to go to the super market since we have ''price control'' but only for the basic basket of goods on the other hand eating out in restaurants actually has a big range of prices and is not that bad. You can always have a good meal(including beverage) even for 500 bucks. Households aso have low rates, transport is way too cheap. Metro costs 0.17 cents for students and .35 for regular passengers, Taxi is cheap also the only way that will charge you more than 10 dollars is because was a long ride. bus also economic.

Is the nightlife good in Panama City? Where is good to go?

Night life in Panama is very good! And it suits to every type of people! We have Calle Uruguay which is full of lively clubs where the only option you have is to dance. but also there are some bars & longes. The best nightlife place for me is Casco Viejo which is a unique walled city, consisting of 16th & 17th Century Spanish Colonial Architecture full of bars & lounges, clubs and restaurants. Some clubs are themed as well as they only play music for underground and bohemian music lovers, reggaeton and electro and so on. Hotels like Hard Rock Hotel and Sheraton, Manrey and others also have good clubs that are very popular.

What advice would you give future students heading to Panama City?

Panama is a good place for living. Actually I feel safe and happy. Of course there are places that are dangerous but so there are in every country but you just have to stay away and you'll be okay. Just beware of directions because population is mixed up in someplaces in one second you could be in a fancy place and a few meters after that in a pretty dangerous place(only if its at night) but actually Panama city is small and easy to learn.
