20 year old student, looking for accommodation in Padua

My name's Fiona. I'm a student from Aberystwyth University, Wales doing a term abroad in Padova next term starting in March, and I'm looking for accommodation for my stay until July! I'm 20 years old, British and American. I study Modern Foreign Languages (French, Italian, and German), so although I'm not the most confident speaker I'm very happy to live with non-English-speaking students who are maybe hoping to exchange languages a bit! I love painting, singing, and writing, and I also swim, fence, and kickbox when I get the chance. 

I'm looking for a private room (singe or double bed, I don't mind) in a flat or house with other students. I'm a type 1 diabetic so I need some fridge space for my insulin, whether that be in a mini-fridge or a shared fridge - either is fine as long as there's space! 

Ideally I'd like to stay somewhere that is okay with very infrequent overnight guests; I have a long term partner back in the U.K., and I'd like for him to be able to visit me a couple of times throughout the 5 months I'm in Padova. This would be really occasional - at most 2 times for a maximum of 2 weeks each time since he's at university as well and can only visit during breaks - and I'm happy to pay extra utility bills during these visits. 

I'm happy with mixed gender flatmates, but for the reason above I'd rather not share a room.

I'm really looking forward to coming to Padova!
