Ooh, Oslo is very expensive - it costs almost 8000 NOK or more to rent a room for a month.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Oslo? Is there any advice you can give?
It is very difficult to find accommodation in Oslo if you are a foreigner. I would advise people to book their accommodation online before they reach here - it's easier that way.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Norwegian food can be excellent and my favourite dishes are roast beef and fish.
What places would you recommend visiting in Oslo?
Frogner Park and Viking Ship Museum. Those places are amazing and you can visit there for free.
Is it good to eat out in Oslo? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Yes, it's good to eat out in Oslo but most restaurants are expensive. My favourite spots are Scandic and McDonald's.
Is the nightlife good in Oslo? Where is good to go?
Very good! You can go to Plaza SkyBar - one of the city's most popular hotel bars and it's enjoyable or St. James Guest House.
What advice would you give future students heading to Oslo?
Save up money, don't be afraid of Norwegians - they are actually really honest and friendly and if you don't speak Norwegian, English is sufficient. All Norwegian speak English...
