Why did you choose to go to Oslo, Norway?

Norway is one of the strongest countries in human rights, children affairs, special need issues.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I had 2-year-scholarship of about 8000 Krones (approx. 900 euros) and it's enough here but not much especially for them who loves nightlife. Alcohol is extremely expensive.

What is the student lifestyle like in Oslo?

The only thing which is cheap in Oslo is the gym. So heaven for people interested in fitness. There are comparable cheap student cafes and pubs but you'd better cook at home.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Oslo to other students?

I would recommend, Oslo is different from other European cities, so experience will be interesting.

What is the food like?

Fast food is more expensive than vegetables. Also, meat is very expensive. Fish, vegetables, frozen pizzas, potatoes are more reachable.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Oslo?

There is an organization, SiO, which sublets rooms in dormitory houses for students and costs are from 3000 to 5000 NOK per student according to the place. For more information see sio.no.

How much does it cost to live in Oslo?

6000-8000 NOK depended on your life-style and shopaholism.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Language courses are available but for limited people, so be aware. Language isn't very easy but everyone speaks excellent English so unless you have a special interest, you don't have to learn Norwegian.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Oslo from your city?

The cheapest airlines in Oslo are: Norwegian, Vueling, Air-conditioning and Pegasus Airlines.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Oslo?

Forget restaurants in Oslo if you are budget student.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Munch Museum, National Gallery, Viking Museum, King Palace, castle, Aker Brygge, different national parks, close islands, Contemporary Art Museum, Opera House.
