What is it like to live in Norrköping? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Norrköping is a beautiful city to live in. I would recommend living here. It is a quite big city in Sweden with 80 000 inhabitants. There are some great restaurants here and an iconic river that flows through the city. You can easily get around with the tram and buses.

What is the student lifestyle like in Norrköping?

There is an active student lifestyle in Norrköping. The students organizes a lot of activities for other students and there is a student house called Trappan where there are lot of activities both day and night.

How much does it cost to live in Norrköping?

A student apartment cost in average 378 euro - 540 euro per month but the rent is only for 10 month a year. In July and August you do not have to pay rent. In regular apartments in Norrköping the price is almost the same for a one room apartment. The prices are not high comparing to the prices in for example Stockholm. You can live in central Norrköping and not pay a fortune.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Norrköping? Is there any advice you can give?

It is not difficult to find accommodation in Norrköping I think. Take contact with the university and the "Studentbo" here. They are the company that rents apartments for students in Norrköping. I would also recommend to visit the university website and check for apartments.

The food in Norrköping is great, there are a lot of great restaurant.

I would recommend to visit Visualiseringscenter.

Is it good to eat out in Norrköping? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Indra for indian food. All restaurants in the neighborhood "Knäppingsborg" are really great.

Is the nightlife good in Norrköping? Where is good to go?

There is quite good nightlife in Norrköping on the weekends. The popular clubs are Puls and Hugos and the student nightclub Trappan.

What advice would you give future students heading to Norrköping?

If you don't find accommodation in Norrköping, try Linköping. There is a free campus bus between Norrköping and Linköping.
