Lagos the promise land

Oh! I cant forget that fateful day i landed on the city of Lagos. A warm cozzy afternoon, Lagos was looking like a paradise. i landed at the Murtala Mohammed Airport. the cool breeze with a peaceful environment. Everyone was going on with their various business, from cloth selling, to food stuffs to provisions e.t.c. i walk passed the street with my luggage in my hand looking for a taxi to board. after walking a while i saw a taxi. i told him my destination and i boarded the taxi, while in the taxi me and the driver had a little chat, we talked on the beauty of Lagos. he told me that all this things were as a result of their Governor. who turned out to be Gov. Babatunde Fashola. My destination was to a 5 star hotel called Eko hotel and suites. We drove pass many architectural building it was looking beautiful. it was like heaven on earth. The street of Ikoyi, victoria island marvelled me. Oh! at last i got to my destination i was exhausted, i went to take a shower and had some rest. i woke later in the evening, went to the receptionist and asked for dinner. I ate and went back to my room, i watched the television and listened to some cool songs and then i later slept off.

The following day i took my bath, dressed up and decided to go for a tour around the city of Lagos; i took my camera with me and walked out of the hotel, strolled around and stopped a taxi whichwas heading towards the city's museum. When i got there i was welcomed by the tour guide alongside other tourist; we were giving the rules guding the museum. When we walked into the exhibition hall i was amazed by the old different artifacts which were displayed in different show glasses. I wanted to take some pictures but the rules says "no photos" so i justed gazed at them with my eye. Later that day i went to the shopping mall did a little window shopping. and continued with my tour i went to the famous and longest brigde in Nigeria (Third mainland bridge) i was amazed with all this stuffs i saw in the City of Lagos. Later that evening i went to the Ikoyi beach, the sand were looking fine, the landscape was so beautiful the corals and the color of the sea was looking enchanting. i felt the cool ocean breeze around me with the fresh evening air. i am really short of words to describe the city of Lagos. its a paradise.

After so much touring around in Lagos i went back to my hotel room and slept. I couldnt wait for the next day...... The food there are superb. We have there amala and ewedu soup, bole (roasted plaintain and fish), pounded yam and peppersoup, then i cant forget their efo roro soup. Thick vegetable soup. Yummy.

I will always say my stay in Lagos was splendid. It was like three days in heaven....
