Newport Beach

Newport is one of my favorite beaches in California! It’s also nice that its located near a bunch of other areas such as Laguna Beach or Huntington Beach. My favorite part of Newport is the peninsula. This is a fun area that you can walk all around or ride bikes. They have tons of restaurants and bard on the peninsula and you can even take the ferry to get to Balboa Island from here.

Laventinas big cheese pizza- this place is amazing and you get a huge slice of pizza! Its so good and cheesy, best pizza here.

Bear flag fish company-Bear flag is amazing and has great fish, this is one of my favorite restaurants and I would definitely check it out and see if you like the menu.

Newport beach brewing co- fun place to go because it has a lot of beer you can try!!

Avilas El Ranchito- great Mexican food!

Tk's Burgers- This is a great burger place, it has amazing burgers and fries but seats are limited. It's a failry small restaurant but the food is amazing! You can always get it to go. 

Baja sharkeez- this is a good restaurant and near the beach so easy access.

Great Mex- this is my favorite Mexican food it is way down the peninsula right across from the ferry to get to Balboa. This is my favorite spot because it is homemade Mexican food and it is a small shop so you can tell that it’s authentic.

Cabo cantina- this is a good place to eat and also to go out at night!

BJs restaurant – what more can you say about BJ’s other than PAZOOKIES!

There are a ton of places to eat here as well as get ice cream or whatever you want. If you go to where the ferry is they have a lot of fun things to do during the day and they also have stands you can get balboa bars or ice cream whatever you may want.

There are also a lot of bars and clubs on the peninsula if you want to have a night out.

Outside of the peninsula are a lot of great restaurants as well!

Haute cakes- this place is great for breakfast, they have amazing breakfast its so good and its very cute you can sit outside and eat.

Zinc café and market- this is another great breakfast spot you can get coffee, smoothies and breakfast its very good!

Sidecar donuts- amazing donuts! It is always packed with people and they always have crazy different donuts but it’s very good!!

Rose bakery café- this has a great breakfast and lunch! Good food all around!

Fashion Island- this is a great mall to go shopping at, it is outdoors and is so beautiful. They have all the major stores and a lot of great restaurants here as well!

Sprinkles- the best cupcakes and ice cream ever! They even do specialty things such as putting ice cream between a cupcake or cookie sandwiches.

N& D Counter- burger joint with great burgers and lots of other food!

Yardhouse- Yardhouse has everything you could possibly want! They have a very wide variety of food and lots of beer on tap as well.

True Foods- one of my favorite restaurants, it is very healthy but is delicious! They have great food here as well as drinks alcoholic and not.

The Beach is the best thing to do during the day while in Newport! You can surf, boogie board, kayak, or paddleboard! They have rentals at certain areas of the beach or you can bring your own!

Balboa Fun Zone- this area is located on Balboa Island and is very fun! You can go with friends, kids, or on a date! There is a Ferris wheel and a couple of other small rides and an arcade. They also offer boat rides as well and you can rent sea doos and other equipment if you’d like.
