3 months Erasmus Nursing Training in Northumbria Uni and North Tyneside General Hospital
First of all, it is not that expensive! Yes, it\'s part of England and England is part of the UK and guess what? It\'s almost just like Portugal (my home country) or Spain or France and cheaper than Italy and other countries. Technology and clothes are really cheap, food is average, and even though eating out can be expensive, it is really affordable if you choose carefully when and where to do it!
Transportation passes are inexpensive (however you really need to think well before you choose) and may include bus and metro to travel through the city and neighbouring places!
You can watch Premier League football matches, top-rugby teams in action, go shopping and to the cinema in one of the many available Shopping Centers around, travel to Scotland (Edinburgh is marvelous), York, Durham, Liverpool, Manchester, Berwick... walk on the beach or through the fields and forests or just visit the castles... you choose!
About partying it is really incredible the diversity of people you can find on a night out (7days per week!!) and the clubs really reflect that... lots of spanish parties and other latin events and I noticed some arabic and greek spots too! Be prepared to find at least as much foreigners as english people there as English is just one the many languages you\'ll hear in that amazing city!
The University is super modern and the staff is super helpful and friendly and will help you with whatever you need (honestly, I really mean anything you need!!). In terms of accommodation just choose one of the numerous Student Halls available. The ones located in city centre are best if you want to be close to all the parties and shopping places.
