My partner in Madrid, Spain has begun a program for students to play with children in the family home. The student plays with the children in their native language. In NYC we are looking for Spanish speaking students to play with children consistently a few hours a week so that they can learn and practice their Spanish.
The profile of the ideal candidate is:
- Spanish speaking (from Spain) university student
- likes children
- has initiative to organize activities
- enjoys entertaining children
- experience working as a volunteer.
We will orient you before starting with a family. You must be available to work with families in the evenings.
You will receive a stipend for your time and your travel expenses will be paid for if you are selected.
