Ice cream seems to be a seasonal joy, but in Italy it’s to tasty and the winter are not so cold. So, the doors of gelaterias are always opened!

To find the good place for ice cream you simply need to go out of your apartments and make some steps…But to feel a really heavenly taste I would like to suggest you my top-3 gelaterias in Naples:

Fantasia Gelati – probably the most popular place among tourists, it attracts first of all by the huge range of tastes. There are more than 30 types of ice cream, including 8 types of “warm ice cream” – delicate mousses with different toppings like almond, hazel-nut, mascarpone, strawberry.

Il Gelato Menella – if during the walk across via Toledo (main street of Naples) you start to feel the sweet creamy smell, most probably you are not far away from gelateria Menella. Ice cream is not too sugared here and is famous for its naturality. The typical Campanian products are used to produce it: sorrentine lemons and nuts, vesuvian apricots. Must try here is “Menella Rock”, creamy ice cream with hazel-nut and cookies.

Chiquitos – this gelateria is concentrated on different types of chocolate: ice cream here has the tastes of Ferrero, Kinder Cereals, Bounty and even the classical taste of Kinder Surprise. Another particularity of Chiquitos is love of experiments.
