Why did you choose to go to Nanjing, China?

because i college in china which is in nanjing

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

the scholarship that i get is when i turn my second year of college until i graduate . the scholarship i get is about 1500 RMB

What is the student lifestyle like in Nanjing?

usually we go to libary to study about chinese culture and sometime we talk with chinese student so we can approved our chinese

Would you recommend the city and the University of Nanjing to other students?

i reccommend nannjing . meanwhile i dont know which university to recommend because not all university have major that all student want . but i think all college are good

What is the food like?

i like the food . but lots of chinese food are little too extreme for me . and the food is little bit oily . and its ot really spicy cause lots of indonesian love spicy food

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Nanjing?

yes of course

How much does it cost to live in Nanjing?

basically i live in dorm . and because i get scholarship i dont have to pay . but they dont give us pocket money in my first year of college . so atleast my parents send me 1000 RMB between one to two month

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

at first lots of foreign student dont undestand chinese . so the teacher must teach us basic chinese . we learn almost one month about the basic . there is no freign language . so when we didnt undestand what the teacher say we use google translate . but there is teacher that can speak english

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Nanjing from your city?

baiscally we all use plane . because its from country to country

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Nanjing?

as a college student . my dorm is close at 10 in the night so we cant really go out at night . cause we have night class and its over at 8:20 . but i think every single spot is perfect for go out . example nanjing eye

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Nanjing?

i usually eat at canteen . and since our dorm alow us to cook lots of students buy vegetable at market and cook it

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

i ever go to nanning eyes and the museum so i think its pefect

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Nanjing in the future?

before college or work you should dowload vpn cause lots apps is block when you at china . and also study hard cause when go to major or second year it will be hard
