What's it like to live in Murcia? Would you recommend it? What's the city like?

I have lived in Murcia for two years and I am totally in love with the city. It's pretty, the weather is great (although sometimes it gets too hot) and it is made for living the university lifestyle: bars, plazas and places to party in abundance! I would very much recommend this city.

There are students round every corner, and the bars and terraces are always full. Less so on Mondays, but you can always go on a night out because there is always something open. Tell me, what's better than life as a student?

How much does it cost to live in Murcia?

It's not expensive, renting a flat right in the middle of the city costs around €200 at most, and life in general can be cheap too if you know where to go.

Was it difficult to find your accommodation in Murcia?

Generally if you look for a flat well there are many good options in the centre, but undoubtedly you must be quick because they disappear fast as there are so many students in Murcia looking for accommodation just like you...

What's the food like in Murcia? What are your favourite dishes?

Spain is the best place to eat food from around the world: meat, fish, pasta, vegetables, salad, sweets. There are specialties in every kind of food.

In Murcia it's popular to eat crisps with lemon juice and a bit of pepper. Also they have paparajotes, which are leaves from a lemon tree coated in batter, and little empanadas filled with Russian salad (one of the best delicacies! ).
