Why did you choose to go to Murcia, Spanish?

I wanted to go to Spain to learn Spanish. My university in Brazil gave me 2 options: Vigo or Murcia. I chose Murcia because of the weather (people said in Vigo it´s too cold) and because people really like to party (and there´s BADULAKE! ).

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I've stayed in Murcia for 5 months. My mum used to send me about 700 euros/month, but with 400 euros I could pay the apartment rent (includes all costs), eat, drink and party, and pay the transport. With the rest of the money I used to travel and buy (clothes specially).

With 400/450 euros you can live well.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

In UCAM there´s a really great Spanish course. Spanish is not difficult if you speak a Latin language. But if you speak English, could cost a little more to learn it.

I live in Brazil. The only way is flying 10 hours at least, hahaha...

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The Cathedral and the theatre (Teatro Romea).

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Murcia in the future?

ENJOY it as much you can. This will be an unique experience in life. It´s better to have one day of Erasmus than to life a life without it.
