What is it like to live in Murcia? Do you recommend it? What is the city like?

Murcia is an incredible city, the climate matches it well and I recommend it 100%.

You can lose yourself in the city's gardens, terraces and architecture.

Moreover, lots of people are often out and about in the city and this works really well too.

It is not a very expensive city. It costs more or less the average price to live in Spain. About 500 euros a month.

Did it cost you to find accommodation in Murcia? Can you give any advice?

It didn't cost me very much given that I come from here and live with my parents. But there are student residences and an abundance of flats that you can rent. In the University there are lots of posters you can look at and I believe that it isn't difficult to find accommodation here.

Do you like the food? What are your favourite dishes?

For me, Spanish food is the best. It's a Mediterranean diet so we eat a lot of meat and fish, as well as lots of fruit and vegetables, as Murcia is home to arable land and orchards.

My favourite dishes are the Spanish tortilla and the Russian potato salad! :)

What places do you recommend visiting in Murcia?

There are lots of places to visit in Murcia, such as the Cathedral, Plaza de las Flores, Santa Clara Convent Museum, the Casino, the Salzillo Museum, etc.

Where do you recommend to go on a night out in Murcia?

There are loads, there is an area where all the students usually go to, which is the area with the tascas (tapas bars), where all the decent students go in Murcia.

And then a bit further out of the city centre, there is another zone with lots of discos where you can dance until 7 am.
