Murcia at Christmas
Murcia is bright with lights, colours and events around the Christmas period.
It's a normal sight to see the town hall completely lit up as well as the main representative streets of the city, and the remodelling of leisure spaces for the children, such as the ice skating rink at Cuartel de Artilleria, concerts in this same area and a lot more.
Lights are hung the whole way down Gran Via, the principal street of the Murcian capital, as well as in the area of the town hall and the Cathedral's red carpet between the well-adorned and decorated School of Dramatic Art.
You can also find the area where you'll see the sardine in the River Segura completely decorated and they host a variety of programs there too.
This year, Father Christmas passed through the most central narrow streets of the city in a crystal ball, creating a huge hullabaloo and causing great excitement amongst the children.
In front of the town hall, they host a Christmas market where they sell typical Christmas gastronomy and sweets.
