Barbecues in the open air in Murcia

Are you in Murcia and fancy having a barbecue but you don't know where to have it without annoying your neighbours? And you want to share it with friends?

Well, some friends and I found the solution.

After having been to the Valle Perdido several times, which I am sure you would have heard of or read about, we decided that this wasn't the place since it was forbidden for many reasons. One of which is because the fires were not put out properly or rubbish may be left behind by people.

The place that we discovered is located very close to the Christ of Monteagudi, which I am sure you would have heard of at least once. It isn't easy to fine and it is actually in the mountains and there are not streets that you can identify, but you can find it on Google Maps as Campo Comida and the search engine will give you the coordinates to get there.

It is a place equipped with tables and chairs, as well as places to put your barbecue and start grilling the meat or whatever you have brought. There is also a water fountain so that you can wash up everything.

When we went, there were several families that were there with children and others that got there after. The area is full of trees and vegetation and you can also see the sunset after eating. Without a doubt, it is a place to do something different that isn't just going out for tapas and drinks.
