Montreal is a great city to live in but it can be quite expensive to go out. The economy is really good and that's why most people decide to stay in Montreal.

The average cost of living is around 600/900$ CAD.

Accommodation in the downtown area is quite expensive. You have to go to the urban areas where it is a lot cheaper but it takes around 45 minutes to get to downtown.

All types of food are good in Montreal but they are overpriced.

What places would you recommend visiting in Montreal?

The downtown, the "Vieux-Port", the "Mont Royal"...

Nope, it's very expensive. Don't forget that it is mandatory to give a 15% tip to the waiters.
