What is it like to live in Montreal? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I would recommend the city of Montreal. It is a great city to live in, especially for younger people like students. There are a lot of things to do like parties, restaurants, movies... and great schools like mcgill which have a great reputation The best part about Montreal is its diversity, there are litteraly people from all around the world, and also most people are bilingual, they speak both french and english perfectly so it is easy to communicate. People are very nice and open too so It is easy to make friends and connections quickly. Another thing I liked about this city is that It is so easy to get around as there are buses and metro stations almost everywhere, and every street is well indicated. The only thing that bothers me is the weather as It is freezing during winter , temperatures can go down to -20 degrees. But it you are well dressed with warm clothing It is not that bad. During the summer It is a great destination because the weather is very nice and sunny, and there are many festivals that take place like the osheaga or the jazz festivals.
