Very active city
Always something happening
Very cold in the winter, nice in the summer
Not optimal if went to travel in other cities because they're pretty far but a nice city to live in (Quebec: 3 hours, Toronto: 6 hours, New York: 6 hours, Boston: 6 hours)

Lots of students so a nice city for students

Downtown: 700-900$/month for a basic student apartment

I cant help for this I dont have any experience about it

Food is normal
Poutine is a must
Lots of salads, pizza, and pasta. Meat is good

Downtown: Ste-Catherine Street, McGill University Campus and Crescent Street
Old Port: Places by the water, buskers, restaurants and bars

Get ready for winter, its worst than you can imagine
Get ready to go out, because Montreal students party a lot
Get ready to work for school, it's hard
Try to live in downtown if possible, it's easier for integration
