Mons is a small welcoming city, but with a lot to share. There is a really good atmosphere like in all the small cities where everyone knows each other and where the students meet after school.

What is the student lifestyle like in Mons?

A lot of nice bars in the center, easy to meet your friends and to meet new students

How much does it cost to live in Mons?

Like 2€ for a beer, 2, 50€ for french fries, 2, 80€ for a bread. It's not an expensive city compared with the bigger cities in Belgium

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Mons? Is there any advice you can give?

There are a lot of student rooms

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Good but better if you discover it in a family. French fries of course are really good

What places would you recommend visiting in Mons?

The "Parc du Beffroi" that is a park with a view of the city and a panoramic view on the surrondings
