What is it like to live in Mombasa? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It's a small town very pleasant and peaceful. A lot of tourist come from all over the world for the beaches.

What is the student lifestyle like in Mombasa?

University I do not know because haven't been to any. They are not as elegant as in other countries. Very simple structure.

How much does it cost to live in Mombasa?

It's not very expensive. You can live a simple to luxurious lifestyle. We can say around 1000 dollars is enough for a month

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Mombasa? Is there any advice you can give?

Accommodation for students might be a problem. There are no student housing as far as I know. We have hotels which might be costly for students. But as a traveller there are very many good choices for business and leisure

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is very good. You can get all varieties like indian Chinese coastal and barbeque

What places would you recommend visiting in Mombasa?

Mombasa is a very small town. Not many places to visit. But fort jesus and old town is a tourist attraction. Many tourist come to visit it

Is it good to eat out in Mombasa? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes it is good to eat out.

Is the nightlife good in Mombasa? Where is good to go?

I do not have a night life so can't advise on that although there are bars and disco in town

What advice would you give future students heading to Mombasa?
