What is the student lifestyle like in Mombasa?

The student lifestyle is simple and one doesn't actually get to be "wild" as much because of the culture that has been there ever since .

Would you recommend the city and the University of Mombasa to other students?

I would recommend mombasa because of the weather.one can adapt easily since it doesn't get cold so no freezing!and it also doesn't get too hot aswell.the people are very friendly because mombasa has actually been kind of a small community over the years but growing rapidly and the changes being made are amazing,
The people adapt easily to civilization since a very high percentage went to sxul in Mombasa unlike the old days. So less ignorant people as you can say.

What is the food like?

The food is very Arabic ,like the rice and etc.people mistake it to be Swahili dishes.its very tasty and u can buy wherever u want because the people are clean so you shouldn't get worried about contamination of the food.the food is affordable in local resturants .for those who Like junk foods. Mombasa has a variety of fast food resturants and t he prices aren't high.a meal wouldn't cost over 1000ksh
