What is it like to live in Modena? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Modena is a great city, has a very beautiful and picturesque old town. There are many shops, bars, pubs and excellent restaurants.
What is the student lifestyle like in Modena?
The lifestyle of the students is different, there are several possibilities: a worldly life in clubs and disco, or a very quiet life.
How much does it cost to live in Modena?
Modena is a fairly expensive city, you have to be informed and to choose the right places.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Modena? Is there any advice you can give?
I do not know how hard it is looking for a house because I have not needed it, but from the experience of my colleagues think it is possible to find accommodation to suit your needs.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
The food here is delicious, pasta and meat dishes, pizza. Well beyond expectation Italy in my opinion excels.
What places would you recommend visiting in Modena?
A Modena I recommend you visit the center: Piazza Roma, Piazza Grande, the Duomo and the Ghirlandina. In addition there are several parks in the very nice green in summer to have picnics.
Is it good to eat out in Modena? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Yes, there is a good pizzeria in Nonantola the name is "la smorfia". Castelvetro is a very beautiful place that are a good restaurant and bar. In the province of Modena in general there are several beautiful situations and yummy places to eat and spend time.
Is the nightlife good in Modena? Where is good to go?
There are many places to go to spend an evening with friends. There are 212 cafe and drink, Icocktail cafe and drink, Embassy, in the centre Goblet and Mr Brown. And many others..
What advice would you give future students heading to Modena?
Modena is really a beautiful city, the weather is sometimes wet and sticky or cold or too hot. Wear different clothes.
