I'm looking for a place to live

I'm an American (USA) of polynesian(Fiji) descent. I was able to aquire an internship from mid September to early January in the beautiful metropolitan city of Milan in Politics and Economics. I would preferably and ideally like a place near public transportation (M3) or near the intersection of Via Montebello and Via Principe Amedeo ( 10-15 minute walk). I would prefere to rent a private room with the common (standard) amenities. I don't have a preference as to the gender of my roommates as long as their kind, tolerent and do not discriminate. Also, I would like it if you (roommates) spoke some Italian but not mandatory, I've only just finished a first level Italian language cource and am still a beginner but I'm ready to learn through practice. I have to keep my rent below € 550 or $730 USD utilities included.
