Why did you choose to go to Milan, Italy?
I was studying Italian in high school so I wanted to study in Italy. I study in English here, in this way, I can practice both my Italian and English.
What is the student lifestyle like in Milan?
It depends actually. I can't say Milan is always awake. This is an expensive city. Bars and clubs are overcrowded but not bad.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Milan to other students?
Well, I study in University Cattolica and I highly recommend it. Firstly, we have lots of sections and opportunities to take the exams. Also people are friendly here so, they help you a lot about notes and courses.
What is the food like?
Italian food is amazing. The cuisine is the most popular in the world. What can I say...
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Milan?
Yes! Beware of consulting agencies. They make you pay the amount of rent price as their consulting price.
How much does it cost to live in Milan?
Between 700-1200 Euros depending on the location and the size of the house.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Yes, the university helps you about Italian. Also Italian is an easy language to learn. You pronounce everything as you write. Not like French...
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Milan?
Gattopardo, Armani Lounge, Terazza 21 and Cavalli are my favourites.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Milan?
People should try trattorias. In Corso Buenos Aires, there is Sabatini. I highly recommend it. Also in Duomo, there is Obica, which serves good food with good view.
