Life and Erasmus in Milano
Milano is amazing. I studied at Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti and fell in love with this city. So much that I will be going back to get my Masters Degree in Milan.
I live right by the Naviglio and it was the perfect area, close to Porta Ticinese, great shops and even better food.
Now that the Naviglio Grande is filled with water it is even more beautiful.
If you are in the mood for an authentic italian pizza go to Riviera, the pizza al metro is a meter long pizza that everyone should experience.
Also in that area, a great and cheap aperitivo can be had at the Mayflower Pub, they give you a huge full glass (wine or cocktail) and unlimited food for just 5 euro.
Unlike some of the bars along the Naviglio Grande that fill your glass up 1 inch for 7 euro. Although Mag on the Naviglio Grande is a trendy place to have a drink, get there early if you want a spot to sit.
Some sunny weekends there are also markets along the Naviglio where you can find anything from flowers to antiques.
I love talking about Milan, if anyone needs suggestions ask away :)
